Scottish C2C Itinerary

Scottish C2C Itinerary

Our Scottish C2C Itinerary follows a new cycle route put together by the creators of the original C2C; it takes you through the Southern Uplands of Scotland, from coast to coast. Sarah and I, along with our two friends Andy and Andy (yes, lots of Andy’s!) from Stockport Community Cycling Club in late Autumn.

Cycling in the direction of Moffat

The route is described by Sustrans as ‘Linking Annan on the Solway Firth and South Queensferry on the Firth of Forth near Edinburgh, the Scottish C2C is a 125 mile signed cycle route. It is a mix of country lanes, high-quality cycle paths and seaside promenades with two challenging climbs, over the classic Devils Beef Tub and through the Moorfoot Hills before opening out onto a panoramic view of the Lothians, Edinburgh Castle, and the Firth of Forth. It finishes under the mighty Forth Bridge.’
