There was some entertainment organised by Bruce and Andy.

It turned out that they wanted all the club leaders to get up on stage and form a choir to perform a song especially written for the occasion. This was a great surprise to all the other leaders!

After the ‘song’ there was a presentation to Jim to say thank you for all the hard work that he puts into the club. There were also flowers for Barbara, to thank her for supporting Jim and allowing him the time for the club. Unfortunately she had been unable to join in today due to taking a fall yesterday.

The final trophy was that of Club Person of the Year as voted for by the club members. This went to John Houghton and was very deserved!

The SCCC Annual Club Lunch 2013 was very enjoyable and it was good to get to see friends. Despite the cold snowy weather outside, there was a good turnout.
