Knutsford – Around Tatton Park (‘Cos you can’t go through it)

Knutsford – Around Tatton Park (‘Cos you can’t go through it)

For our weekend cycle ride, we decided to head out to Knutsford. We have been enjoying our cycling and this was a lovely sunny day for cycling. We began by heading out through Bramhall and Cheadle Hulme. From there we joined the Airport Relief Road. And then picked up the Airport Orbital Cycleway, local network route 85. After following the cycleway for a few miles, we turned off into Mill Lane. This took us towards Ashley. After crossing Mobberley Road…

Wizard 2019

Wizard 2019

It was a cold and windy Sunday, January morning that witnessed a surprisingly healthy crowd of Stockport Community Cycling Club members ready for this Wizard 2019 cycle ride. Tatton Park via Lymm

Tatton Park via Lymm

While we often cycle through Tatton Park, this new route, which Neil had put together, would bring us to the park via Lymm. It was a strong turnout of Stockport Community Cycling Club members that arrived at Timperley Sports Club on a hot summer Sunday in July. In fact, there were so many of us that we split into two groups. Neil led one group with Sarah as his back-leader. While Andy S, originally pencilled in as the back-leader, now…

Plantation 2018

Plantation 2018

There was a healthy turnout at Timperley Sports Club for this Stockport Community Cycling Club Plantation 2018 cycle ride. It meant we had to break into two groups. Gill was the ride leader for the first group. While I have often led the second group when needed, I allocated the responsibility to Andy S on this occasion. The photos that follow, therefore, are taken with this second group. Sarah, unfortunately, couldn’t join us. She needed to travel for work reasons. It was a…
