Macclesfield Circular 2021

Macclesfield Circular 2021

This Macclesfield Circular 2021 cycle route repeated our Stockport Community Cycling Club ride of 2017 and 2019. It has always proved to be a ride enjoyed by our members for being challenging while surrounded by some lovely scenery. Cheshire Cycleway Day 5 was the final day of our tour, and it would be one long-lasting in the memory (more on that later). So it was that we left the Egerton Arms Country Inn having enjoyed a hearty breakfast. After having enjoyed decent weather so far, our luck had…

Out to Macc via the Brickworks

After missing last Sundays coronavirus lockdown ride due to being on our Bay Cycle Way tour, things were back to normal this weekend. This weekend it was Tracey’s turn to plan the route, and she decided to take us out to Macc, or more correctly, Macclesfield. We met at Poynton Pool and headed out up Towers Road. It was a lovely sunny day for cycling. From there we made our way up through Higher Poynton and on towards Pott Shrigley….
