Macclesfield Circular 2021

Macclesfield Circular 2021

This Macclesfield Circular 2021 cycle route repeated our Stockport Community Cycling Club ride of 2017 and 2019. It has always proved to be a ride enjoyed by our members for being challenging while surrounded by some lovely scenery. We met at Macclesfield Riverside Park visitor centre on a cool though fine Autumn Saturday morning. I was leading this cycle ride and Sarah was the back-leader. Upon leaving Riverside Park we dropped down Summerlea Close and joined the Middlewood Way. In…

This took us along Wilmslow Road past the Deanwater. We then turned into Lees Lane. And then Mill Lane. We cycled through…

SCCC Macclesfield Circular Ride

Saturday’s weather forecast was not great. Just as we set off  to cycle to the start, the heavens opened! The SCCC Macclesfield Circular ride started at Riverside Park. We had thought with the weather being bad, that not many people would turn up, but we were wrong! They just kept arriving! We waited for a short  while as we had heard that Martin had got a puncture on his way to the start. It turned out that he was having problems…
