Hadrian’s Cycleway Day 2. Following Hadrian’s Cycleway Day 1 of our tour, today was our longest day, from Cockermouth to Carlisle. This would mean cycling back to Workington and then following the coast up to the start of Hadrian’s Wall. From there we would finish the day by cycling on to Carlisle. Today was our Hadrian’s Cycleway Day 1, the start of our latest cycle tour adventure. We got the train up to Ravenglass, arriving at lunchtime. The official Hadrian’s Cycleway starting point is the Roman Bath house, so we made our way there passing the Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway station.
