Our Lochs and Glens South Day 2 began on another sunny day as we left Annan. This would prove to be a cycle ride of two halves. After a few miles, we arrived at the coast and cycled through Powfoot. Monday was our Lochs & Glens South Day 1, the first day of our cycling tour. We got the train to Carlisle. Day 1 saw us cycle from Carlisle to Annan. Our Lochs and Glens South Itinerary outlines our major summer tour for 2017. It is, as usual, our annual group cycle tour with some of our friends from Stockport Community Cycling Club. We started the Scottish C2C on Thursday, which was day 0 (our way to Annan). Friday was our day 1 when we travelled from Annan to Moffat. Saturday was our Day 2 when we cycled from Moffat to Peebles. Sunday was Scottish C2C Day 3 when we cycled from Peebles to Edinburgh and Monday was to be day 4 when we would cycle to the end of the Scottish C2C route and then back Edinburgh to catch our train home…

The Scottish C2C Day 1 is made up of two parts – our ride from the Rowanbank Guesthouse to the start of the route, followed by the route from the start to Moffat. You can see our trip to Annan here.
