Sunday was our Coast and Castles North Day 1. However, before we did any cycling we had a trip around Edinburgh Castle which had been arranged by the lovely Ali. Arriving at Edinburgh Castle, they were getting ready for the Royal Tattoo. There were quite a number of military museum’s to look around. A visit to Runcorn represented a new destination for the latest in the Stockport Community Cycling Club longer ride series. Saturday was the SCCC Sale Water Park Afternoon Ride. We met at North Reddish Park. We set off an made our way onto the Fallowfield Loop or the Manchester Cycleway as it is also called. We passed past Sainsbury’s at Fallowfield and then continued along the Manchester Cycleway. At then end of the Manchester Cycleway, we passed St Werburgh’s tram station.
