Friday was the start of our big adventure. Today would be mainly spent sat in our crew van as we drove up to John o’Groats.

We stopped mid morning for a coffee break at Southwaite services.

Feeling a little more refreshed we continued on into Scotland.

We stopped for lunch in a place called Auchterarder in a lovely cafe called Cafe Kisa.

After lunch there was still a long way to go!

We stopped for fuel and a quick coffee at the garage in Inverness before continuing our journey north.

We are staying at the Seaview Hotel at John o’Groats tonight.
