E2E Day 19. The Glen Nevis Youth Hostel was at the bottom of Ben Nevis. The view of it from the door was great, although there were quite a number of midges flying around this morning!

We set off and went back to Fort William and then set off down the Great Glen. Initially along the canal, through the forest (which was lovely and cool due to the shade from the trees).

We then went along the main road for a while, which took us past the Well of Seven Heads.

There was a little shop opposite where we bought food for lunch, sitting outside under the shade of the umbrellas to try and keep out of the sun.

We then went back on the Caledonian Canal to Fort Augustus. This is where we stopped to buy groceries for our evening meal.

Then went up the hill to Loch Ness Youth Hostel . The view from the bedroom window was amazing!
